Fine Art

It is through fine art that the majority of my ideas take shape and form and to establish
originality of concept–resulting in the client receiving highly individual and refreshing finished
solutions to exactly meet their design requests and marketing needs.

Fine art, therefore, not only provides me with free thinking time, it also allows for
valuable flexibility to investigate new visual approaches and techniques to aid visual problemsolving.

As a fine artist, I have achieved a relatively high profile both nationally and
internationally. Notably, John Moores Liverpool Exhibition, The International Drawing
Biennale and the International Printmaking Biennale.

As a full-time and visiting lecturer in higher education I taught at Norwich, Sheffield, Leeds
Newcastle-upon-Tyne universities and The Hamburg Academy of Fine and Applied Arts
(British Council Award).

Target for exhibiting my fine art works are: galleries, municipal and private.
Target services: commissions and broad ranging installation projects–public and
private organizations–hospitals, libraries, offices, tuition/workshops/lectures to schools,
colleges of further and higher education, art societies and other private bodies.
